Possible Wrist Sprain

Question:

Dear TAI Experts: I hurt my wrist (I woke up one day and it felt like it was sprained) over three months ago and when I do little things to it, it hurts to bend it like I sprained it all over again. I went to the doctor and she made me bend my hands inwards against each other, but that day everything was ok. Today I tried to do the same thing and it hurts, also I started to notice a little bump when I bent my hand. The bump feels hard like a bone and it doesn't hurt when I touch it. I am not able to do push ups anymore because I can't extend my arm completely due to my pain in the wrist. What should I do, where should I go next?  Thanks    ... read more »

Ankle Pain and Swelling After Surgery

Question:

Dear TAI Experts: I have had about 8 surgeries on my foot for bunions and corrective surgery because they made my big toe too far apart and it was causing a lot of pain. But recently I shattered my ankle on that same foot and had surgery two times. One for the external bar thing to pull my bones back down and the second one was to put the plate and screws in to hold it together. This happened in mid April this year and it’s been 8 weeks after the last surgery. I have a boot brace on and can walk on it as much as I can tolerate it with my crutches, just no jumping or running. It is still very swollen when I just have my leg normal and it doesn’t bend. It’s still really stiff and it has sharp, burning, tingling, shocking smashed feeling of pain. Is that anyway normal?   Is there anything anyone knows of to help releave the pain and help regain movement again and be able to walk again? ... read more »
