Supervised Clinical Placement
Therapeutic Associates, Inc. (TAI), in association with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), an independent post professional manual therapy education and Fellowship program, offers a Supervised Clinical Placement (SCP) site for physical therapists interested in working and learning under the guidance of NAIOMT faculty. Bill Temes, PT, OCS, FAAOMPT leads this program, which is located in Eugene, Oregon.
Physical Therapists have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Bill for 2-3 hours/day, and then they may work as a staff therapist in the clinic for the remainder of the day. The therapist may also have the opportunity to work with other TAI/NAIOMT faculty.
Therapists may sign up for as little as one week and for as long as 2 months (longer with approval).
Minimum Requirements
The applicant will hold the following minimum qualifications in order to be considered for acceptance into the TAI Temporary Employment Supervised Clinical Placement
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Oregon
- We recommend completion of a NAIOMT level I (500) course or equivalent
- Selection for the program will be based on completion of all required forms and availability of clinical faculty
Although this program is recommended for those who are enrolled in the NAIOMT Fellowship program, therapists who are interested in developing manual therapy skills will also be considered.
Costs/Temporary Employment Reimbursement
