Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy - American Heart Association - Portland Heart Walk

Therapeutic Associates is physical therapist owned and directed since 1952. Our clinics are managed by physical therapists who have the support and resources of a large organization, and the freedom to manage their clinic operations with their teammates to best serve their patients and the larger community.

We offer an unprecedented program called PT Cohort to all newly hired physical therapists providing leadership development, clinical education, peer support and social connectedness, and a chance to collaborate and share feedback. We also offer one-on-one Mentorship, an APTA-credentialed Orthopaedic Residency Program, specialty practice resources, research and teaching offerings, coursework including the NAIOMT COMT series, a clinical listserv, and many other education opportunities for our employees.

A culture of lifelong learning.

We offer and encourage education funding, learning experiences and growth opportunities for all teammates.

Our APTA accredited Orthopaedic Residency program is designed to support private practice physical therapists in the development of advanced clinical skills and prepare them for a number of post-graduation pathways.

These collaborative sessions include 1-2 days of professional development and clinical learning. This experience not only orients teammates to our culture, philosophies, and opportunities, but also gives our therapists a chance to learn from their peers, as well as interact with our Leadership team and hang out and have fun.

One of our core values is "We support a culture of learning." We take learning and development seriously, offering a number of educational experiences to all teammates. Our courses, workshops, webinars and series offer timely subject matter facilitated by leading instructors to help our therapists and all teammates, regardless of their role, continuously grow.

Mentorship plays a strong role in our company identity. New PTs receive one-on-one mentorship to support their professional growth and education goals, and ultimately, to provide the highest quality care to our patients.
