Education & Training
Clinical education is a cornerstone of our foundation and vision. While we encourage all of our therapists to achieve NAIOMT Level III or equivalent manual therapy training, we support advancement in a number of different specialties and areas. Our people are highly credentialed practitioners, educators to our peers and patients, authors of publications and articles for periodicals, leaders in local and national organizations, and presenters to professional and public audiences.
Orthopaedic Residency Training Program
The most comprehensive and structured clinical education program we offer is our Ortho Residency Program. Its mission is to provide high quality educational training to facilitate the development of superior orthopaedic and progressive clinical management skills for the sake of creating practitioners who better serve the company, our patients and clients, and the profession of physical therapy. The program is ideal for new grads or therapists earlier in their careers, but is open to any TAI therapist working in any of our clinics.
What makes our program unique:
- One of the few private practice-based residencies in the country, offering unique preparation for private practice work
- Curriculum includes Level 1 of TAI’s unprecedented Leadership Development Training Program
- North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) course work is an important part of the program, and a portion of the mentorship experience is provided by NAIOMT faculty and fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT)
- The program capitalizes on the rich resources of our company’s long history and many experiences, including utilizing the wealth of information of our CareConnections product line
Therapeutic Associates, Inc. is credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association as a post-professional clinical residency program for physical therapists in Orthopaedics.
