Longtime Central Oregon Community Member

For almost 30 years, Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy (TAI) has had a presence in Central Oregon. Under the stewardship of Don Wick, the founding partner in the region, and with his ability to pioneer relationships with area physicians, the number of Therapeutic Associates practices has gradually expanded from one to four facilities.

Based in what is now one of the fastest-growing metro regions in the country, Therapeutic Associates maintains its high standard of care services for the area's residents, be they locals, new arrivals, retirees, or elite athletes. TAI also maintains a community presence through sponsorship of area events such as the Pole, Pedal, Paddle and the Sisters Folk Festival, as well as through public educational opportunities, like the physician-directed talks at The Athletic Club of Bend. It is part of the culture of Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy to give back to the community. Many of our staff volunteer their time in service clubs and in the school system. We have given in kind or monetary support to the Bend-LaPine School District, Boys and Girls Clubs, MBSEF, The Center Foundation, Special Olympics, and the Arthritis Foundation. Through our involvement with Mt. Bachelor Rotary Club we have supported Kid Center, Sparrow Clubs, Grandma's House, Pakistan relief, Tree of Joy, and many other worthy causes. The clinics also sponsor some of the top young athletes in the region, including the national class skiers on XC Oregon (www.xcoregon.org) and the rising regional force that is the TAI Cycling Team (www.taicycling.com).
