Athletic Woman - Stretches stock Audrey Elias PT, DPT, physical therapist at Therapeutic Associates in Port Angeles, will be speaking at the Olympic Discovery Marathon Expo at 1:30pm this Saturday (6/4/11) at the Red Lion. Her talk will focus on taking care of oneself during, immediately following, and in the days following your marathon. She’ll touch on what happens to the body during maximum effort, what to expect, ways to take RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to a whole new level, and how to know when to seek professional assistance.
