Matt’s background as both an active participant in outdoor activities, including triathlons, and as a trained physical therapist, gives him some insights he will share with us relating to coping with pain.

Hailing from South Dakota where he earned his Bachelors degree in Athletic Training, his Masters in Physical Therapy and his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT), Matt became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2011.
Matt counts mountain biking and triathlons among a variety of outdoor activities he enjoys.
The combination of his professional training and his outdoor sports has motivated his interest in preventing and treating injuries related to outdoor and endurance sports.
Matt has made presentations to long-distance runners and triathletes.
