Physical Therapist: Redmond Physical Therapy

Amy is a physical/hand therapist for Therapeutic Associates in Redmond and Bend. She has a special interest in rehabilitation of the hand, including post surgical conditions, trauma, arthritis, and cumulative trauma disorders, as well as custom splint fabrication. She has achieved the esteemed certification in hand therapy (CHT) that requires extensive study and practice in the field of hand therapy as well as passage of a rigorous written exam. She is a member of the APTA and American Society of  Hand Therapists.

Amy has been practicing in an outpatient orthopedic capacity since 1996 and began practicing in Central Oregon in March 2009. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Her previous experience has also included manual therapy for the spine, custom foot orthotics, lymphedema, and Physical Capacity Evaluation for injured workers.

She is an avid cyclist and runner and has completed 5 marathons and multiple mid-distance triathalons.
