About Our Massage Therapist
Kara Doherty began working for Therapeutic Associate of Redmond in June 2011.
Kara obtained the Oregon State License in Massage Therapy in February 2011, and has been nationally recognized by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards for completion of the written massage licensing exam.
Kara completed additional course work in Sports Massage and the Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries. During the summer she worked with the Timberline Marathon providing massage for competing athletes.
Kara is passionate about providing experience and knowledge to others about the importance of our health through preventative care. Kara also enjoys painting, camping, gardening and wood working. She is a born and raised Bendite but has had the opportunity to live in Southern California, Denver Colorado and Southwestern Washington but has always called Central Oregon home. Kara is continuing her education in Physical Medicine and exploring other interests in Natural Resources and Conservation Research.
