About the Clinic
Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy at Oregon Medical Group (OMG) Southtowne is located in Eugene, Oregon and provides contracted physical therapy services to OMG. The OMG Southtowne physical therapy clinic was opened in December 2009 by Hannah Shallice PT, MsPT, OCS, CMPT. Since that time, Amy Temes Clifton PT, DPT, OCS; Leslie Girard PT, DPT; and Keith Wohlberg PTA have also joined the Southtowne physical therapy team.
OMG Southtowne has six private treatment rooms and a large gym that includes cardiovascular and weight equipment. Additionally, there is balance training equipment for various levels of patients and athletes.
Services provided by Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy at OMG Southtowne include manual therapy, orthopedic physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, neck and back care, headache treatment, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, osteoporosis treatment, work conditioning and injury prevention consulting, and vestibular and balance training. We also provide Cycle Fit asssessments and video analysis of running and walking.

Join Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy and Berg’s Ski Shop in a free class to get you ready for the upcoming ski season while preventing injury. This complimentary class will offer new and seasoned skiers the opportunity to discuss and learn about a variety of ski related issues. Topics will be presented by licensed physical therapists and Svein Berg.
Svein Berg of Berg’s Ski Shop will discuss proper boot and equipment fitting, and the pains associated with poorly fitted gear. The class will transition, and Hannah Shallice PT, MSPT, OCS, CMPT, Amy Temes Clifton PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, Chelsea Vuylsteke PT, DPT, Kelly Finney PT, DPT and Leslie Girard PT, DPT will focus on sport specific strengthening, balance/ proprioceptive training, plyometrics and core training that can be used to remain injury-free throughout the season.

Each year, over 2,000 participants run, walk, roll or cartwheel their way towards building a better community for youth and teens in Lane County. Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to celebrate this family-friendly event’s 31st year!
The Truffle Shuffle benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lane County The informal run/walk allows members of the community to compete in a fun, healthy outdoor activity and win prizes while supporting youth and teens in our community through 1:1 mentoring relationships.

On Sunday, July 24th four of your local Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapists, and 2 of their spouses, competed in the Tri at the Grove in scenic Cottage Grove, OR. Therapeutic Associates was also a proud sponsor of this local event promoting health and community.. John Nielsen, PT, Amy Clifton, PT, Neisha Strait, PT, Matt Weigel, PT, Matt Hilton (spouse of Val Hilton, PT), and Jake Clifton (spouse of Amy Clifton, PT) all competed in the event. Come join Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy on Sunday, August 7th, 2011 for the 13th annual Blackberry Bramble, as we support all of our bike riders in this great local race. The rides will begin on Sunday morning, and will stretch from distances beginning at 10-20 miles, all the way up to a 100 mile century ride. Spots in this years event are still available.
