Massage Therapist: West Eugene Physical Therapy

Brenda graduated from the University of Oregon with a BFA degree in Graphic Design. During her years of education at University of Oregon, she competed in both Track and Field and Cross Country, where she earned All-American honors, earned a spot on an NCAA Championship team, and made the record list in multiple events. In 1999, Brenda was inducted into the University’s Hall of Fame. After graduation, she worked as a graphic artist, producing logos and plastic cards for various companies and businesses and also continued her running career through the Olympic Trials.

A turn in career came with an offer to perform in music. She followed this professional goal for nearly 12 years; singing, playing keyboard, and performing in travel across the country. During her time as a musician and athlete, she frequently received massages and decided that to be her next endeavor. She went on to earn credentials at the Cascade Institute of Massage and Body Therapies in 1996 and continued her education by specializing in Orthopedic Massage under the training of James Waslaski, international lecturer/instructor in Orthopedic and Medical Massage.

Brenda is married with three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending and coaching their sports/activities, and watching them earn their own accomplishments in sports and music. Her hobbies are many, ranging from boating, camping, and snow skiing to gardening, cooking, and being at home with all her pets – dog, cats, and more … and of course – running.
