Staff Therapist: Physical Therapy - Corvallis

It is with immense satisfaction and a deep sense of accomplishment that Rhonda has completed 35 years in the field of Physical Therapy. Rhonda is a 1972 graduate of the University of Idaho and a 1974 graduate of the University of Utah School of Physical Therapy. 

Physical Therapy has opened many doors and diverse opportunities for Rhonda. For 15 years she practiced in the field of Rheumatology and was an active member and officer of the Idaho Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, the National Arthritis Foundation, and the Oregon Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. With her rheumatology background, she has extensive training in the management and treatment of the hands and feet. 

In 1992 she was given the rare opportunity to implement, manage, and provide Ergonomic consultation and Physical Therapy service, in house, to world-class woolen mills, Pendleton Woolen Mills of Oregon. She served employees in all facets of management and production and continued at the corporate office after the manufacturing plants were closed in 1997. Ergonomic training paved the way to many fun and exciting opportunities outside the scope of a physical therapy clinic. Thirteen years were devoted to Occupational Medicine, Safety and Health, and the field of Ergonomics. 

In 2001 Rhonda moved from Portland to beautiful Corvallis where she has worked for Therapeutic Associates Corvallis Physical Therapy the past six years. General orthopedic manual therapy is the mainstay of her practice. 

In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, snow skiing, mountain biking, or any activity that keeps her in the great outdoors.  Rhonda, her husband, and yellow Labrador, Cody, have a small farm where they recently added “raising pheasants” to the menagerie. 

Physical Therapy has been the perfect fit for Rhonda and she is honored to have met and served the multitude of people who have crossed her path. Each and every one has had a profound impact on her life-giving richness beyond words.
