Physical Therapy Assistant: Cedar Hills Physical Therapy

Melanie Ransom, PTA, ATC, CSCS  has been a Physical Therapy Assistant for 6 years. She holds a Masters degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is a certified Athletic Trainer. Melanie is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, giving her extensive knowledge in developing exercise programs and exercise techniques. Her nickname given by some of her patients is the “Gym Sergeant.”

Melanie was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is an avid golfer, loves to travel, and likes all outdoor activities. She enjoys playing all sports but prefers to avoid long distance running. On the weekends, you can find her spending time with her husband or playing with her nephew. She has also been going to Las Vegas once a year since turning 21!
