Staff Therapist: Cedar Hills Physical Therapy

Valerie Priest, MPT has been working at Cedar Hills Physical Therapy since 1999. She attended Northwestern University and received her Bachelors of Science degree in education in 1992 and her Masters Degree in physical therapy in 1995. 

She specializes in Women’s health, including incontinence, pregnancy/postpartum issues, pelvic pain, and breast cancer rehabiliation. She is certified in Lymphadema Management and has also been certified in ASTYM™ (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization) since 2005. Other areas of special interest include working with high school athletes, shoulder injuries, lower extremity dysfunctions, and biomechanical assessments/evaluations. She is currently working towards her Manual Therapy certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy. 

In her spare time she enjoys exploring the Northwest and hanging out with her husband and two children, who keep her busy with soccer, hockey, and lacrosse.
