About the Clinic

TAI – Clackamas Physical Therapy has been in practice for 18 years to serve the east side of Portland. Our expert staff includes two Physical Therapists (one of whom is a certified manual therapist). We are conveniently located off the Sunnyside Road exit, west of I-205.  Our clinic is situated on 93rd Avenue, just off Sunnyside Road located near the Monarch Hotel.

We provide high quality, one-on-one care specific to each patient’s individual needs. Our goal is to educate patients on their conditions and help them achieve wellness through exercise, stretching, and manual therapy. Our philosophy is that physical therapy is an effective avenue when the patient and therapist work together toward the same goal. We believe that patients must take an active role in their rehabilitation process in order to return to function and achieve an active, healthy, and pain-free lifestyle.

    All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for Mark McCurdy! For several years he’s been helping me sort out the back, neck and knee problems that come from the issues with my spine. Mark always takes the time to explain exactly why I’m hurting, and what we plan to accomplish in physical therapy.

    However, what I appreciate most about Mark is that he actually cares about his patients! He understands we wouldn’t be there if we weren’t in pain. I rarely see that level of compassion with my medical providers.

    As a writer, I spend a lot of time at my computer or leaning over my artwork. Without Mark keeping me from curling into a permanent pretzel shape, I’m not sure how I’d be able to do my work.

    Photo of cruise, doing my straigthening exercises, thanks for the help in getting my knees back in shape after the replacement. Did a lot of walking & climbing on our vacation, everything working good.
