David received his PT degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he also competed in Swimming. He completed a Doctor of Science degree at Andrews University. He began his manual therapy training in the Netherlands and received his manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). David is the director of Clinical Education for Therapeutic Associates in Portland, OR. He also serves as a clinical instructor, faculty, and examiner for NAIOMT. David directs the TAI BreathWorks at the Downtown Portland location.
