Staff Therapist: Northeast Portland Physical Therapy
Jeremy earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University in 2008 and immediately joined Therapeutic Associates. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2001 and worked as a personal trainer in the Greater Seattle area. He is pursuing a manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and plans to become a Certified Manual Therapist in 2011. He also participates as a board member of the Oregon Orthopedic Physical Therapy Study group and helps to bring quality education to physical therapists in the Portland metro area.
Beyond his clinical work, Jeremy is dedicated to the physical therapy profession. He is involved with the Oregon Physical Therapy Association and volunteers for the Government Affairs Committee. He has a particular passion for educating both patients and physical therapists regarding legislation impacting the physical therapy profession and scope of practice.
When not working, Jeremy enjoys various athletic pursuits, including volleyball, golf, running, water skiing, and snowboarding. He has a particular interest in golf and in maximizing players’ ball striking ability to optimize distance and improve scores. As an avid golfer himself, Jeremy tries to play a nearby course most weekends.
