Steve graduated from Linfield College with a BA in Education, and in 1981, received his BS and certificate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University. He has continued his studies with numerous advanced courses through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and the Sports Medicine and Orthopedic sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Oregon Physical Therapy Association (OPTA).

A valuable member of the Therapeutic Associates team, Steve brings extensive outpatient orthopedic and manual therapy experience to the Tualatin community. In addition to providing physical therapy services to the community, he is a former teacher and football coach of Tigard High School.

Steve married his high school sweetheart in 1976, and he and Paula have four children - Joel, Nick, Anna, and Maggie (and three grandchildren). They enjoy the outdoors and enjoy hiking, cycling, skiing, and gardening.
