Ashleigh grew up in Albany, OR, where she excelled in many different competitive sports, including volleyball, basketball, and softball. After graduation from Santiam Christian High School in 2002, she left Oregon to attend Rutgers University in New Jersey. There she volunteered for the big sister program, was the captain of the Scarlet Knights Women’s Volleyball Team, and worked as a club volleyball coach while she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology. After graduating in 2006, Ashleigh spent a year working for Therapeutic Associates in Albany and coaching the West Albany High School volleyball team. In 2007 Ashleigh left to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. During her time there she had the opportunity to work with patients in the community who were recovering from stroke and spinal cord injuries. She graduated with honors in 2009, and has now returned to the Willamette Valley to begin clinical practice.
Ashleigh’s interests include sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, and spine care. When she is not in the clinic she enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, and just about any other competitive sport. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with friends and family. Ashleigh is happy to be home in the great Pacific Northwest and looks forward to becoming involved in the many community opportunities it offers.
