Chad Dybdahl PT, MS
Physical Therapist: Grants Pass Physical Therapy
Chad received his physical therapy degree at a joint program through University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco State University, which culminated in a Master’s of Science in 2007. He previously attended Willamette University, where he played football and received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Exercise Science in 2005. He has a strong interest and background in athletics and is currently teaching sport-specific speed and strength training classes with Eric Medley at Therapeutic Associates – Grants Pass Physical Therapy. Chad has been employed at TAI – Grants Pass Physical Therapy since graduating from PT school in 2007. Since 2009 he also spends an occasional weekend working at Highland House or Royal Garden’s skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers. Chad enjoys treating a variety of conditions, including sports injuries/surgeries, total joint replacements, shoulders, and spine related conditions. His treatment strategy emphasizes educating patients on the disease/injury process, using manual techniques to improve mobility, and teaching them exercise to address their impairments and functional limitations to allow for improved function.
Chad is currently pursuing certification in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Other interests include becoming a Sports/Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.
