Marian Runyeon PT, MA, DPT
Physical Therapist: Grants Pass Physical Therapy
Marian joined Grants Pass PT after practicing in Arizona for the last 7 years. Marian holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. She also earned an MA in Exercise Science and Sports Sciences from the University of Arizona, and a BA from Smith College. Marian’s experience as a professional modern dancer and yoga instructor inspired her to become a PT and also influences her treatment style today. Her areas of interest include rehabilitation of the spine and extremities in both post-surgical and chronic pain patients, and she specializes in the treatment of neck/low back pain, headaches, and TMJ pain. Marian has been trained in Strain-Counterstrain, Craniosacral, and Myofascial release techniques. Her approach to physical therapy encourages patients to develop improved awareness of their posture and movement patterns as they exercise or receive manual therapy. New to Oregon after having her own clinic in Tucson, Arizona, Marian is looking forward to exploring the mountains and fishing the waters of Southern Oregon with her husband and 5 year old daughter Hope Sophia.
