Pilates Classes: Medford Physical Therapy
About Pilates
Pilates is a system of mind-body exercise evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates. It teaches body awareness, good posture, and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility, and economy of motion. It teaches you to be aware of how your body feels, where it is in space, and how to control movement.
Class Description
Our pilates classes include a series of whole body exercises designed to build strength while developing balance and flexibility. Primarily, these exercises focus on the body’s abdominal and back muscles and on spinal mobility. Pilates is excellent for all levels of fitness and can be tailored to suit almost any physical limitation.
No pilates experience necessary! Please bring your mat to each class.
