Dan Hirtle PT, MTC

Dan has over 21 years of experience in the outpatient setting. His expertise lies in spinal and sports/industrial rehabilitation, with a focus on orthopedic manual techniques, intensive stabilization, and functional training. Dan completed his training at California State University in Fresno in 1985 and has extensive post graduate training through St. Augustine University, where he received certification of competency in manual therapy in 1988. He also attained post graduate training with North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and is currently seeking certification for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute, U.S.
Dan has lived and worked in Douglas county since 1993, including ten years with Central Physical Therapy in Roseburg. He is an avid cyclist, skier, and hiker. His involvement in the community includes being committee chair and Scoutmaster of local Boy Scout Troop 56, spending five years on the Roseburg High School Booster Club board of directors, and spending three years as coach of the RHS alpine ski race team. He is married and has four children ages 22, 20, 14, and 13.
