After serving the Port Angeles and Sequim communities for the past three years, Beth Welander is excited to continue her service as Director of Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy Port Angeles beginning in September 2010.

Beth was raised in Gig Harbor, Washington and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Washington State University in 2004. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 2007. Being a proud Cougar alumni, Beth returned to the Evergreen State and completed Therapeutic Associates’ Orthopedic Clinical Residency Program. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and treats patients with orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, surgical rehabilitation, and spinal dysfunction. She serves as the Clinic Coordinator of Clinical Education and enjoys incorporating education into her career as an orthopedic physical therapist.

Outside the clinic, Beth sings barbershop with the Grand Olympics Chorus and is involved with the Peninsula Young Professional Network.  She also enjoys taking advantage of the Olympic Peninsula’s outdoors—hiking, camping, fishing, snowshoeing, running, and competing in triathlons. Beth strives to bring this energy and passion to her work as a physical therapist and encourages health and wellness to her patients.
