Gail Tate PT
- Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
Physical Therapist: Port Angeles
Gail graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. Since that time she has engaged in continuing education with specialties in orthopedic disorders of the spine and extremities, work injury management, craniosacral therapy, prosthetic rehabilitation, and myofascial releasing techniques. She is also certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Specialist and has served as President of Northwest Rehabilitation Alliance and Secretary of the Physical Therapy Private Practice Special Interest Group.
“A patient’s physical therapy program is only as good as the therapist who designs and administers it. That is why I place so much importance on education and training. That knowledge must be maintained, so I set vigorous goals for continuous growth in core knowledge and practice skills. The rehabilitation of injury or impairment is as much an art as it is a science. My long years of experience give me advanced skills in assessing a patient’s goals and needs and in setting up an appropriate program for effective treatment and a quick recovery. Listening, learning, and creating an atmosphere for laughter are all important parts of my interaction with patients.”
