Audrey Elias PT, DPT
Staff Therapist: Sequim

Audrey comes to the northern Olympics after graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana – Missoula in June 2009. Originally hailing from a fish farm on the high plains desert of southern Idaho, she discovered a love of trees and other green, growing things while at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolution, modified with Physical Anthropology in 2002. After stints in science journalism (writing about lead poisoning and arsenic toxicity), wildlife genetics (fragmenting frog DNA), and mammalian ecology (a summer spent catching and radio-tagging bats!), she realized that physical therapy allows her to directly impact other people and the community in fundamental and meaningful ways.
In the nascent stages of her PT career, Audrey is primarily interested in lower extremity orthopedics, women’s health, prevention and wellness, and performing arts physical therapy. She hopes to enter the Therapeutic Associates Orthopedic Clinical Residency Program while working in both Port Angeles and Sequim. Outside the clinic, she explores everything the mountains and shore have to offer on road bike, backcountry skis, and on foot. She also pounds out a mean rhythm in well-worn tap shoes wherever she can find a hardwood floor.
