Julie Dresch has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist since 2000. She earned her Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota and achieved awards for academic excellence. Prior to that she completed a B.S. in Psychology in 1997.
Julie has continued advancement of her skills through studies with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and earned her Certification of Manual Physical Therapy distinction in 2007. She recently became a board certified Orthopaedic Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Her other area of special interest is Women’s Health Physical Therapy, which she has practiced for over 7 years; treating incontinence, pelvic pain, and pregnancy related issues. Julie excels at creating an environment rich in patient education and self-management skills, offering excellent hands-on care, and providing attention to proper exercise techniques. Along with patient care, she enjoys teaching and serving as a clinical instructor to student physical therapists, as well as active involvement in her national and local professional organizations.
In her spare time Julie enjoys training for triathlons, running, cooking, reading, and travel. She has been married to her husband, Scott, since 1996.
