Precision Sports Performance: Canyon Park (Bothell) Physical Therapy

PSP LogoPrecision Sports Performance is a program within Canyon Park PT that is designed with your total health and wellness in mind. The philosophy of the program centers on the idea that movement must be specific to sport or function. Each class within the program is designed to challenge the participant with their goals in mind. Our Sports-Specific program is tailored to each sport’s fundamental movement patterns and focuses on enhancing performance.

All programs are taught or supervised by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) who hold the same certification as strength and conditioning coaches in pro and college athletics. Contact Canyon Park PT for more information on pricing and availability.

General Fitness Training (2 Times Per Week)

Functional Fitness

  • Customized Full Body fitness program designed with your musculoskeletal health in mind
  • Appropriate for anyone interested in increasing their cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health
  • Individual and group sessions available
  • Specific training to improve functional core strength and balance

Corporate Fitness

  • Custom group fitness program designed to meet the musculoskeletal health goals of your employees
  • Circuit training program aimed at increasing cardiovascular and muscular fitness
  • Builds teamwork in a fun, upbeat atmosphere
  • May decrease risk of workers’ compensation claims in the long-term

Advanced Core Strengthening

  • BOSU ball training
  • Stability ball training

Sport-Specific Training (2-3 Times Per Week)

Football

  • Focus on explosion, speed, and agility
  • Speed training using resistance, weighted sleds, and weighted vests to increase acceleration and absolute speed
  • Explosive resistive work to increase power

Wrestling

  • Advanced core strengthening
  • Increased muscular endurance
  • Train using Keiser Functional Trainer to create resistance in movement patterns specific to wrestling, such as turning the corner
  • Increased quickness and explosiveness

Soccer

  • Speed and Agility training to make you quicker to the ball
  • Advanced core strengthening
  • Increased muscular endurance

Tennis

  • Focus on lateral speed and quickness
  • Rotator Cuff Strengthening
  • Advanced core strengthening

Basketball

  • Jump training to increase vertical jump

Volleyball
