Nicole is an eastern Washington native who graduated Valedictorian at her high school and top of her Exercise Science program at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. At Willamette she was captain and an academic All-American on her top 10 ranked soccer team. She performed her thesis research on this soccer team, testing the effectiveness of ACL injury prevention programs for female soccer players. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy with Distinction from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon before returning to Washington State to settle with her husband. She is currently pursuing advanced manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and has finished the level III coursework at this time.

Nicole is now the head coach for the Mercer Island High School girls’ soccer program and runs injury prevention programs for soccer and basketball youth athletes. She recently had her first child and enjoys spending her free time in the outdoors with her family and dogs.
