Staff Therapist: Fairwood Physical Therapy

Nicole graduated with her B.A. at the top of her Exercise Science program from Willamette University. At Willamette she was captain of the soccer team, which was nationally ranked in the top 10 all four years she played. She performed her thesis research project on this soccer team, testing the efficacy of ACL injury prevention programs for female soccer players. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University where she continued with her injury prevention interests and implemented a program for the local high school soccer team.

During clinical rotations Nicole focused her interest in outpatient orthopedics, but also spent time working in pediatrics and in the Puget Sound VA spinal cord injury unit. She is currently pursuing advanced manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Nicole now coaches high school soccer and runs injury prevention programs for female soccer and basketball youth athletes. Nicole was recently married in Whistler, Canada and enjoys hiking, camping, and playing games with her two dogs and family.
