About Pilates

Pilates InstructionPilates is a system of mind-body exercise evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates. It teaches body awareness, good posture, and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility, and economy of motion. It teaches you to be aware of how your body feels, where it is in space, and how to control movement.

About our Instructor

Amy Daniel

Amy DanielAmy is a 2007 graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in Dance. She is certified by the Physical Mind Institute as a Method Pilates Instructor. In addition to Pilates, she is experienced in teaching modern dance and ballet technique. She enjoys teaching a wide range of ages and physical abilities, with a special interest in working with post natal and post mastectomy clients.
