Bethanie Bayha PT, DPT

Bethanie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound and chose to continue her education at the University of Southern California, graduating with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2001. Since that time she has broadened her scope of practice by completing a multitude of continuing education courses in both manual therapy and functional training. She is currently studying for certification as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and completing course work through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Bethanie will also begin teaching a nutrition for the active adult course for the TAI Sports Residency program.

Bethanie works with clients of all ages and emphasizes function in the evaluation and treatment of both athlete and non-athlete cliental attempting to provide education and interventions to promote optimal return to an active lifestyle and to prevent re-injury. Specialty areas include functional analysis and treatment, manual therapy and bike fit and analysis. She is also interested in the role of nutrition in injury prevention and recovery.

Bethanie was born and raised in the Puget Sound region where she developed a love of sports and outdoor activities. She has participated in everything from soccer to rowing to lacrosse and triathlon. She enjoys cycling, hiking, running, spending time with her friends and family and is an avid cook.

Treatment Philosophy: “Through a comprehensive assessment and functional treatment, I attempt to individualize client’s rehabilitation to assist them in returning to an optimal level of function. Through ongoing education during the recovery process, I encourage prevention through self-knowledge and management strategies.”
