Staff Therapist: Seattle Physical Therapy

With his extensive research background, Travis attempts to regularly employ evidence-based treatments when prescribing physical therapy techniques to a wide variety of patients. Travis also utilizes treatment techniques developed during clinical affiliations conducted in the Seattle area; Portland, ME; and New York City.

• Graduated from the University of New England in 2009 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy
• While at the University of New England, conducted research on the effectiveness of a shoulder strengthening program in high school athletes
• Obtained a Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University in 2005
• Has attended national conferences through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and continuing education classes offered through the Maine chapter of the APTA

Travis competed in golf, cross country running, and indoor track at the NCAA division III level while at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. Growing up in Minnesota, Travis also played high school hockey. Drawing from his own active lifestyle, along with his personal recovery from injuries, Travis understands the strong desire to return to an active lifestyle and the many hurdles associated with rehabilitating from an injury.
