Physical Therapist: Mount Spokane Physical Therapy

Bret Maiers received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Eastern Washington University in June 2010. His recent training and education allow him to be more aware of new research in the field of physical therapy and more focused on evidence-based practice. His clinical internship experience included exposure to outpatient neurological rehab, acute care physical therapy, and outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy. Bret chose to work at Therapeutic Associates because of the company’s sound reputation and experienced staff in this field.

Bret’s passion and chosen area to practice is orthopaedic physical therapy, and he is currently pursuing post-graduate training through the North American Instute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. He strives to utilize research and mentoring as he develops his practice. Bret enjoys treating patients with all types of diagnoses, particularly those who have sustained shoulder injuries/surgeries. He enjoys and has received extended training for treatment of low back injuries. Bret also enjoys working with athletes from the community as they strive to improve their performance or recover from injury.

Bret grew up in Southeast Idaho and and moved to Spokane in 2007. He enjoys basketball, flag football, and running. He also loves spending time with his wife and children and looks forward to becoming more active in his community.
