Al is a long time resident of Puyallup, WA and a graduate of Puyallup High School. He received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Al has focused exclusively on outpatient orthopedic care throughout his sixteen year career. He is experienced in conservative management of spinal injuries and has extensive experience in the post-operative management of most common orthopedic procedures, including reconstructive procedures, scopes, ORIF’s, and joint replacements. Al is particularly skilled in the evaluation of knee and shoulder injuries and has 15 years of experience utilizing the KT-1000 Knee Ligament Arthrometer for the evaluation of knee joint instability.
Al is married and lives in Puyallup with his wife Linda, who is a Flight Attendant for Alaska Airlines. His interests outside work include photography, music, and frequent trips to Alaska for sailing and fishing. He is also a novice apiarist (beekeeper) and maintains several hives on his five acre home site.
