PT Cohort
Where Your Journey Begins
The PT Cohort is a two-year program for all new PTs who join Therapeutic Associates. The program is designed to connect, develop, and elevate our physical therapists. From day one, you’ll dive into collaborative learning, a chance to connect with peers from around the company, clinical skill development, a chance to connect with peers from around the company, clinical skill development and a roadmap unique to your career path.

Mentorship
One-on-One Support from Experienced Clinicians
Our mentorship program is designed to provide unparalleled support and growth opportunities. Over your first two years, you will receive 48 hours of one-on-one time with a seasoned physical therapist who has been highly trained to mentor others. This hands-on guidance will help you develop your skills and advance your career.
Advanced Orthopedic Education
Orthopedic Skill Development & Residency Options
Included with the PT Cohort, all full-time providers will complete the NAIOMT COMT 1-5 course series, preparing them to become a Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT).
About Our Orthopedic Residency Program:
- Full, regular salary while completing the program
- Cost of the program, $8K, is spread out over a two-year duration of the program then fully reimbursed when you continue to work with TAI for two years following completion of the program
- 150 hours of mentorship
- Over 90% pass rate on the OCS Board Certification Examination (cost included)
- Completion of the COMT certification through NAIOMT
- Monthly Clinical Patterns courses covering 24 of the most common conditions seen in outpatient orthopedics

Office Hours:
Therapeutic Associates provides monthly offerings of general orthopedic office hours, Residency office hours, PTA office hours, and pelvic health office hours. Office hours provide an opportunity for clinicians to collaborate on challenging cases and discuss clinical topics with both near peer mentors and TAI Education Department mentors. -
Journal Club:
Hosted by Education Department mentors, Journal Clubs are offered quarterly and provide the opportunity to review new and/or interesting articles that have relevance to clinical practice in outpatient orthopedics. -
Clinical ListServ:
The Clinical ListServ is an on-demand digital forum that allows for collaboration with >300 providers on challenging cases, clinical questions, and research-related topics. This includes Ortho ListServ and Pelvic Health ListServ.
Scholarships and DEI&B Commitment

Our DEI&B Bridging the Gap Scholarship is to designed to support current, and/or aspiring PT and PTA students from marginalized communities. This scholarship aims to increase the representation of historically underrepresented populations in healthcare leadership by supporting students in their endeavors to become physical therapists.
Post-Professional Tuition Advancement is an offering that serves to support providers (financially and/or through mentorship) in further advancement and training that contributes to TAI as a whole. Examples include support for pursuit of a fellowship program and other advanced certifications (e.g. Therapeutic Pain Specialist, Schroth certification etc.).
