Come join us for a workshop centered around understanding what the pelvic floor is, why it is important, and how you can optimize the function of this crucial grouping of muscles during movement.

You will walk away with a 1-page guide to deepen your understanding of your pelvic floor including exercises and relaxation techniques.


10:00 AM -11:00 AM – Educational session on the pelvic floor. Topics covered include:

  • Pelvic floor overview
  • Signs and symptoms of a dysfunctional pelvic floor
  • Strategies to assist with maintaining pelvic floor health

11:00 AM-12:00 PM – Movement lab* please dress in appropriate activewear

  • Move through exercises and techniques to assist in relaxation of the pelvic floor
  • Move through exercises that assist in strengthening the pelvic floor and associated musculature
  • Sweat and have fun while we do it!

* There will be no internal evaluations during this two hour session
* Light refreshments will be included

The class is free to participants, however, we encourage you to learn more about the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) and consider making a donation.
