Corey has worked in both outpatient and home health physical therapy where he has gained experience and a unique skill set for treating people of all ages. He is well versed in sports and orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, chronic disease management, functional rehabilitation and optimizing athletic performance.


His treatment philosophy focuses on developing individualized treatment plans, with an emphasis on manual therapy, to provide each patient with a healing touch to maximize their outcomes.

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington in 2008

When not in the clinic, you may find Corey hiking or biking the Boise foothills, camping and fishing along the many rivers of Idaho, running along the Green Belt, golfing at the local courses, skiing at Bogus Basin, or enjoying the urban life in Boise with his lovely wife.

Tyrel Nelson - Nampa Physical Therapy

Tyrel Nelson, PT, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist

Tyrel attended Boise State University as an undergraduate studying Athletic Training, where he went on to certify as an Athletic Trainer. His enthusiasm for sports and rehabilitation led him to further pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Tyrel is passionate about helping athletes of all ages improve their performance as well as remain pain and injury free.

His treatment philosophy includes empowering patients through education and active participation during treatment in order to maximize recovery. He focuses on developing individualized plans of care utilizing a variety of techniques to improve function and quality of life.

Tyrel is excited to return and experience all that the Treasure Valley has to offer. Outside of the clinic he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. When possible he loves to travel, participate in recreational sports, explore the great outdoors, and work on his family’s farm.

David Farmer - Nampa Physical Therapy

David Farmer, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

David attended Brigham Young University-Idaho as an undergraduate studying Exercise Physiology. His continued interest in the body’s musculoskeletal system and his love for helping others succeed led him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to back to beautiful Idaho shortly after.

David enjoys interacting and building relationships with patients on their road to recovery. He believes that every person’s experience is unique and therefore requires a personalized approach to restoring function and improving overall health. He incorporates education into treatments to help patients be actively involved in their plan of care.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also likes participating in recreational sports such as volleyball, basketball and football. In the winter he is an avid downhill skier and in the summer he enjoys getting outdoors for hiking, camping, and rock climbing when able.
