Chad received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Boise State University in 2011. Following graduation, he started working as an Intraoperative Neuromonitor during brain and spine surgeries. After holding this position for 4 year he decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. He was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Idaho State University in 2017. Chad has an interest in manual therapy which he plans to continue to perfect his techniques through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and Fellowship of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT).
Chad likes to provide an individual treatment approach for each patient where he designs the plan of care to achieve the patient’s goals and return them to their optimal level of function, whether that be playing with the kids, going for a hike, or running an obstacle race. He does this by combining his passion for manual therapy, exercise, and preventative care to not just treat his patients but educate them in proper mechanics and movement to prevent future injuries.
Chad is an Idaho native who grew up in the Treasure Valley. When Chad is not in the clinic, you can find him spending time with his wife and two kids by either going hiking or camping. During the fall months, he enjoys spending time in the mountains doing archery hunting.
