Jerrod Ackerman graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Ohio University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology of Exercise, Magna Cum Laude. He has a strong interest in hands-on, manual therapy and has been trained in multiple techniques by several premiere clinicians, instructors, and researchers throughout the nation.
Jerrod’s passion for physical therapy stems from the ability to directly and dramatically improve a patient’s physical and emotional well-being through highly individualized treatment techniques, education, and activity modification. He strives to deliver the most progressive, evidence-based treatments to all patients to provide the quickest and most effective outcomes possible. In doing so, Jerrod makes your goals, his goals.
Jerrod was born and raised in Milan, Ohio, but moved to Boise after completing several clinical experiences in the western United States and developing a passion for the mountains, outdoors, and wide-open spaces. Other interests include running, hiking, basketball, music, playing guitar, travel, new experiences, and an overall active lifestyle.
