Elly, a native Oregonian, became interested in physical therapy as a career after completing several episodes of rehab for injuries sustained during athletics in her youth. After high school, she worked part-time as a physical therapy aide and in 2013 she received her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science from Southern Oregon University. Elly moved to Flagstaff, AZ to attend Northern Arizona University (NAU), where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. Through NAU’s many community outreach programs, she was given the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing impairments stemming from both orthopedic and neurologic conditions.
Elly completed an internship with Therapeutic Associates at the Sisters Athletic Club during her final year of school and was impressed by the level of personalized care and attention that each patient receives. She strives to work collaboratively with each patient to develop an individualized rehabilitation plan and provide patient-centered care. Elly’s areas of clinical interest include balance and fall prevention, pediatrics, and general orthopedics.
Elly and her husband Jon recently moved to Redmond from Sisters and can be found pursuing a number of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and hammocking, among many others.
