Josh grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon and later moved to Eugene where he graduated from the University of Oregon. While at the U of O he played football from 2001-2005 and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Physiology. After becoming a personal trainer, Josh returned to school to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and graduated in the top of his class with honors.
Josh is currently pursuing advanced certifications as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. He enjoys working with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders of both the spine and extremities in the young and aging population. Josh’s clinical interests include rehabilitation of sports injuries, repetitive overuse injuries, post-surgical conditions, dizziness/vestibular rehabilitation, and manual therapy. He is certified in ASTYM, an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization technique.
Josh loves the outdoors. His hobbies include kayaking, fishing, golfing, camping, and hiking. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kari, who works as a special education teacher, and his children Griffin and Ella.
