GENE_Brad Schwin

Bradley Schwin

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Brad graduated from Northwest Nazarene College Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy. He later graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Brad began work in outpatient orthopedics in the state of Washington, where he advanced to a clinical director position within his practice.

He then returned to his home state of Oregon and opened West Eugene Physical Therapy in 1996. He went on to open Gateway Physical Therapy in 1999. Brad’s specialties include orthopedic manual therapy, sports physical therapy, industrial rehabilitation, and custom foot orthotics. He also received recent certification through the APTA as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).

Brad’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife Michele and their three boys; Caleb, Kyle, and Lucas. His hobbies include running, hunting, golfing, camping, and water-skiing.


Carla "Janie" Horton

Physical Therapist

Janie attended Washington State University for her Pre-Physical Therapy studies and completed her Physical Therapy training at Eastern Washington University in 1992, where she graduated with top honors.

Janie has worked in various settings, which include orthopedics, neurological disorders and rehabilitation, geriatrics, balance training, fall prevention, chronic disorders, back injury rehabilitation, and community education.

Janie’s leisure time is spent with her family, and she enjoys camping, traveling, beach combing, and enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite pastime is bass fishing.


Emily Baughman

Physical Therapist

Emily earned a BA in Zoology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. She worked in mapping software for 5 years before attending Azusa Pacific University, where she graduated at the top of her class with a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2000.

She became a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2007. She is active in helping the profession as a lab assistant for NAIOMT courses. She specializes in orthopedic manual therapy and has worked for Therapeutic Associates since 2000.

Emily has been married since 2001. She enjoys time with her family and friends, especially if it is hosting dinner parties or participating in outdoor activities, such as walking her standard poodle, skiing, hiking, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing.

Heather Corbin

Physical Therapist

Heather was born and raised in Seattle and attended Washington State University for her undergrad education where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She completed her Doctorate in physical therapy at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Heather has been working for Therapeutic Associates since graduation and has completed the Therapeutic Associates Orthopedic residency program. She is also a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Manual therapy. Heather enjoys treating patients of all ages and specializes in orthopedic manual therapy, return to sport and post-operative care. In her spare time, Heather enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, backpacking and skiing.
