Zach Jones

Zach Jones, PT, DPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Zach has been director of Beaverton Physical Therapy since 2005 and has been working for TAI Beaverton since 2001. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University. Zach has achieved Level III training from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and has certification in ASTYM and Sportsmetrics for ACL prevention. In his spare time, Zach enjoys golfing, biking, and spending time with his wife, Kim, and twin daughters, Courtney and Kelsey.

Shanda McCormick - Beaverton Physical Therapy

Shanda McCormick, PT, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist

Shanda has been working for Beaverton Physical Therapy since 2003. She received her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Linfield College and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Shanda went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in 2003. She is also certified in ASTYM.

Nathaniel Correia, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Nathaniel is a native Oregonian with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Science from Oregon State University in 2013. After college, he worked as an Aide at Therapeutic Associates Scholls Physical Therapy before returning to school to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, Austin, Texas in 2017.

Nathaniel enjoys working with patients of all ages and various conditions to achieve goals through an individualized treatment approach. Nathaniel’s primary interests are manual therapy and sports medicine. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, basketball and soccer.

Michele Owens - Beaverton Physical Therapy

Michele Owens, PTA, ATC

Physical Therapist Assistant

Michele has been with Beaverton Physical Therapy since 2003. She received her undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA in 2003, where she was also captain of the women’s soccer team. She went on to get her PTA degree from Mt Hood Community College in 2010. Michele is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is also certified in Sportsmetrics for ACL prevention.

Tara Gronsdahl - Beaverton Physical Therapy

Tara Gronsdahl, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Tara has worked for Therapeutic Associates since 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from New Mexico Highlands University in 2005, where she was also part of the women’s basketball team. She went on to get her PTA degree at Mt Hood Community College in 2015. Tara is an alumni of Aloha High School. In her spare time, she enjoys playing/coaching basketball, hiking, and spending time with her husband and family.


Lauren Post, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Lauren began working for Therapeutic Associates in 2012, two years after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. There, she played four years of DIII Volleyball for the Lutes and met her husband, Jordan, a Beaverton native, who convinced her to move to the Portland area following graduation. Lauren initially worked at the TAI – Beaverton location as an Aide and Front Office Assistant. She returned to school at Mt. Hood CC in 2015 to obtain her degree and license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and began working at TAI – Scholls after graduation in June of 2017.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends and family, chasing around her two cats – Grace and Ty, playing slowpitch softball, reading, and attending sporting events – especially baseball games. Lauren currently lives in Beaverton with her husband.

Mallory Reser - Therapeutic Associates Sherwood Physical Therapy

Mallory has grown up in Tigard, Oregon since she was 2 years old. She is finishing up her last term at Oregon State online and will graduate at the end of the summer 2019. She is graduating with majoring in Kinesiology and getting a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship. She will be taking a gap year while applying to grad schools. Also, she will be volunteering at different places such as the Boys and Girls Club. Her main motivation for wanting to become a physical therapist is from an interest to always wanting to help people.

Some of her favorite things are helping out others, reading, being outdoors, and hanging with her family and friends.

Teresa Spellman

Teresa Spellman

Administrative Supervisor

Teresa is a longtime native of the Newberg area and has dedicated her time over the past several years to her community in various capacities. Teresa served on the Board of Directors for Willamette Valley Volleyball, was co-chair for NHS Grad Night and worked for five years as Director of Operations at Hillside Inn and Fellowship. She is now serving the community in a new area: at the helm of the Office at Newberg Physical Therapy under Director Patrick Bridge PT, DPT.

In her “off time” Teresa runs her own business, selling and fabricating window coverings, as well as keeping up with her two grown children and continuing to serve at her church. She loves hiking, sewing, camping and planning events.
