Lisa graduated from EastWest College of Healing arts in Portland, Oregon in 2010. There, she learned techniques of Swedish, Craniosacral, and Myofascial massage and spa treatments. Since that time she has advanced her training with the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral therapy and is working on her credentials with them. Lisa’s focus with Craniosacral training has been with adults, pregnant women, and infants. She enjoys working with all ages, body types, and injuries.
Lisa believes every “body” has a story to tell and has an amazing ability for self-healing. Sometimes our bodies just need a little help. Lisa listens to what you and your body have to say. She then combines multiple techniques to offer your body the best chance of making the necessary corrections to make you feel better.
Lisa can combine the trainings of CranioSacral Therapy and Myofascial, Soft Cupping, and Swedish modalities. Each of these techniques can be used individually or in combination. Her focus with every client is to calm the sympathetic nervous system (Fight or Flight system) and allow the parasympathetic system (Rest and Digest system) to take over. By using this practice, she is able to assist with a deeper relaxation of muscles and tissue, in addition to decreasing pain and headaches, assisting with emotional and physical disorders, and assisting in the bonding of mother and/or father with a child.
