Stephanie Spindler is a California native who was happy to return to the west coast after receiving her Doctorate from Columbia University in New York City. At Columbia, she received advanced training in Orthopedics, Rehabilitation of Athletes, and Pelvic Rehabilitation which make up the cornerstones of her focus as a Physical Therapist. As a founding member of Columbia’s RunLab, Stephanie has ample experience working with runners of all skill levels to perform real-time analysis to improve their performance and reduce their risk of injury. Stephanie also has practical expertise working with amputees. She has published several research publications in this field and has attended and led a support group for people living with limb loss.
Stephanie focuses on individualized care for every patient, making sure to factor in the complex and unique needs of everyday life that differ from person to person. She enjoys learning about people’s eccentricities and figuring out what motivates them so she can team up with the patient to reach goals, faster. Stephanie has a passion for both learning and educating and is currently pursuing further certification and specialization in both manual therapy and women’s health.
Prior to making the trek cross-country to the Big Apple, Stephanie attended the University of Southern California where she received her B.S in Human Biology and minor in Psychology. When she is not cheering on the Trojans (Fight on!) you can find her hiking, exercising, reading a good book, or binge-watching Netflix.
