Emily Caldwell - Gresham Physical Therapy

Emily Caldwell

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Emily Caldwell earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2010, following an undergraduate degree in biology and art history from Loyola University Chicago. She began her career at the Therapeutic Associates clinic in Gresham, where she completed an orthopaedic and manual therapy residency program. She is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and is pursuing advanced training in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Emily has also taken extensive training in pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

As the director of Therapeutic Associates Clackamas, Emily enjoys helping people of all ages and conditions reach their health goals. She has a particular passion for sports rehabilitation and pelvic floor wellness for both men and women, using physical therapy to treat health issues such as urinary/fecal incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and pre/post-natal rehab.

Emily is a native of Denver, Colorado and a former competitive figure skater. She enjoys traveling, skiing, snowboarding, speed-skating, hiking, camping, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband.


Ashley Billingsley

Physical Therapist

Ashley earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, following an undergraduate degree in exercise science and physiology from Pacific University of Oregon. She plans to pursue advanced training manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She also plans to seek additional certification in strength and conditioning, as well as training in Olympic lifting and technique.

As a staff physical therapist at Therapeutic Associate Clackamas Physical Therapy, Ashley enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. She has a particular passion for working with athletes, and enjoys integrating physical therapy with the Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and Strongman communities. Ashley utilizes a functional, therapeutic, exercise-based approach, as well as manual therapy. She is focused on providing the keys to success and independence to each patient she works with.

A native Oregonian, Ashley grew up in Gresham, and has been involved in athletics, dance, and equestrian activities. She is a former competitive softball player, an avid CrossFit and Strongman competitor, and owns and shows Arabian horses. True to Oregon tradition, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
