John Parr - Gresham Physical Therapy

John has been the director of Therapeutic Associates Gresham Physical Therapy since 1998. He earned his undergraduate degree from Willamette University and his graduate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. John is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy, a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association, and a certified ASTYM provider. John enjoys both learning and teaching. He has been certified as a Clinical Instructor through the APTA and as a clinical mentor through Therapeutic Associates. He continues to broaden his knowledge and skills through advanced coursework in manual therapy, exercise, and functional movement patterns.

John has been certified as a golf fitness instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. His TPI training enables him to help golfers of all abilities perform their best.

John grew up in Wenatchee, WA and has lived in Oregon since 1985. He and his wife Tamie have 2 sons, Ellis and William. John enjoys playing racquetball, running, biking, and stand-up paddle boarding, and he is an avid golfer.

Angela Gracia - Gresham Physical Therapy

Angela Gracia, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Angela received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in 2017. During her clinical rotations she gained experience working with a wide range of patients including those with orthopedic, neurological, pelvic floor, and sports injuries. While at Regis she participated in a global immersion program in Nicaragua where she had the opportunity to work with children with cerebral palsy and initiate a continuing education program with the local physical therapy program in Managua.

While she enjoys working with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, she is highly interested in the science behind chronic pain, manual therapy, and pelvic floor rehab. Angela’s philosophy is providing patient centered care that is evidence based and individualized. She believes in the power of knowledge and educating her patients on their recovery while providing them with the tools to advocate for their own care.

She is pursuing manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and plans to start courses to treat pelvic floor disorders through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Angela was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. After undergrad, she taught high school Biology and Chemistry for three years before returning to graduate school. She is new to the Pacific Northwest and eager to spend her weekends exploring the city of Portland. She enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, and biking. When the weather is cooler, she enjoys cuddling up with a book or her guilty pleasure, binge watching Netflix.

Jessie Fannin - Gresham Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist Assistant

Jessie received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Ohio University. She later earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham. She enjoys her work in outpatient physical therapy because she gets to help such a wide variety of people.

Jessie is currently pursuing additional training in sports-related injuries and preventative injury programs for athletes of all ages. Being that she has a passion for sports and athletics, she aspires to specialize in these fields of physical therapy. She incorporates her knowledge of both cupping and myofascial release techniques into her treatments, and is also a clinical instructor.

Born and raised in Kettering, Ohio, Jessie brings with her a lot of Ohio pride. She has lived in Oregon since 2009, and loves all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Jessie is a sports enthusiast, with her favorite teams being the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians, although she does keep up with the local Portland Trail Blazers as well. She loves to talk sports with her patients. Her other main interest is hiking with her wife, especially in National Parks. They have completed the 52 Hike Challenge for the past 2 years. In her spare time, Jessie enjoys going to brunch, breweries, and spending time with her cat and 2 pit bull mix dogs.

Dylen Brewer - Gresham Physical Therapy

Dylen attended Clackamas Community College while in his sophomore year of high school taking advantage of a dual credit program his school offered. After graduating Dylen chose the path of personal training and received his NASM Certification and has been training people since 2016. He has added a Mental Toughness, and Corrective Exercise Certification in 2018 and plans on adding more certifications such as Nutrition, Fat Loss, Performance Enhancement, and Behavior Change specialization, casting his net to help the most people he can.

Dylen enjoys working with anyone who has a goal to live a healthier life. He wants to help as many people as possible in whatever way they need his guidance, he has worked with weight loss clients, mobility clients, strength clients, and functional training clients, anyone who feels their body is preventing them from living their best life. Dylen believes a body in motion stays in motion, and that he could be the tool to help everyone live a better life.

Dylen was born and raised in Milwaukie, Oregon and moved to Gresham in 2017. When Dylen isn’t training he is usually enjoying the beautiful scenery Oregon has to offer, or enjoying time with his family, friends and dog. He is also an avid sports fan and is a loyal Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets fan and loves talking sports with his clients.

Jenessa earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from California Lutheran University in 2016. Since graduation, she has been taking additional classes, working, and volunteering in a variety of settings while preparing for graduate school. She is planning to pursue a master’s degree in physician assisting and hopes to work with a variety of patients, particularly in medically under-served areas. She enjoys working hands-on with patients in the physical therapy clinic and watching the progress they make throughout their recoveries. She thinks all patients deserve access to the care they need so they can live the lives they want without an injury or pain holding them back.

A native of the Mt. Hood area, Jenessa spends time hiking with her sister or camping with friends in the summer. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading a good book.

Lauren Kelly - Gresham Physical Therapy

Administrative Coordinator

Lauren is a native Oregonian who has always had a passion for health and fitness. She has been with Therapeutic Associates since 2016, first starting with our clinic in Camas, then moving to Tualatin, and finally with Gresham Physical Therapy as of December of 2017. Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise & Sport Science from Oregon State University, initially preparing to go to physical therapy school until she decided the clinician route wasn’t for her. She has a wide range of customer service experience and loves being able to help patients throughout their treatment.

Lauren loves being active, and in her spare time can be found outdoors hiking, running or exploring the Portland Metro area. On rainier days, she loves a good book, or spending time catching up on her favorite shows on Netflix.
