Angela Gracia - Gresham Physical Therapy

Angela Gracia, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Angela received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in 2017. During her clinical rotations she gained experience working with a wide range of patients including those with orthopedic, neurological, pelvic floor, and sports injuries. While at Regis she participated in a global immersion program in Nicaragua where she had the opportunity to work with children with cerebral palsy and initiate a continuing education program with the local physical therapy program in Managua.

While she enjoys working with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, she is highly interested in the science behind chronic pain, manual therapy, and pelvic floor rehab. Angela’s philosophy is providing patient centered care that is evidence based and individualized. She believes in the power of knowledge and educating her patients on their recovery while providing them with the tools to advocate for their own care.

She is pursuing manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and plans to start courses to treat pelvic floor disorders through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Angela was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. After undergrad, she taught high school Biology and Chemistry for three years before returning to graduate school. She is new to the Pacific Northwest and eager to spend her weekends exploring the city of Portland. She enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, and biking. When the weather is cooler, she enjoys cuddling up with a book or her guilty pleasure, binge watching Netflix.

Gresham - Carly Petesz

Carly Petesz

Exercise Specialist

Carly was born and raised in the Gresham area, where she spent a lot of her childhood working on and learning about cars with her older brother and father. During this time, she realized her passion for learning how things work and function, which lead to her fascination of the human body and the mechanics behind it.

After graduating from Gresham High School in 2015, Carly originally thought she wanted to become an occupational therapist, but after needing physical therapy herself, she realized that was what she really wanted to do!

Carly is currently enrolled at Mt. Hood Community College where she is beginning her journey in becoming a physical therapist assistant. Being able to work with patients with a variety of different injuries and/or obstacles gives Carly the opportunity to get her foot in the door and learn from the best!

In her spare time, she is usually camping, fishing, or planning her next road trip.

Yasmeen Ramos - Therapeutic Associates Gresham Physical Therapy

Yasmeen Ramos

Exercise Specialist

Yasmeen is a recent graduate of Linfield University. She was a student athlete and artist during her undergraduate studies. Post-graduation you can find her playing soccer, bike riding, trying new recipes and painting. Some of her passions outside of active living include hanging out with family and traveling to new destinations.

As an Oregon native she loves being outside and participating in all the activities this place has to offer. In the near future she plans to go back to school to complete her graduate studies as a physician assistant. Working as an exercise specialist is a great way to interact with patients and develop patient care skills for the future.
