Gwen Smith, PT, DPT

Gwen Schulze received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2017. During her time in Los Angeles Gwen gained experience working with people of all ages in post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, or non-surgical recovery to return to optimal function, work, or sport. She had the opportunity to work in Parkinson’s rehabilitation utilizing BIG therapy and has experience working in vestibular rehabilitation.

Gwen grew up in Silverdale, Washington, where she played almost every sport under the sun and developed her love of the outdoors. During high school Gwen played basketball and swam competitively. Gwen was a collegiate swimmer and completed her undergraduate degree at Willamette University in Psychology. Gwen has a passion for helping others achieve their goals and reaching their full physical potential.

In her free time Gwen enjoys spending time with her fiancé and friends. Her fiancé and her enjoy exploring new hiking trails throughout the PNW, running, going to Blazer games, snowboarding, playing basketball, and trying new and interesting restaurants throughout the Portland area.

What is your favorite Pandora Station?
Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Tupac…really anything not country.

What is your favorite Sport to watch? To Play?
I love to watch football (I’m a born and raised Seahawks fan) and Basketball (Blazers). I enjoy playing basketball, swimming and running.

If you could only eat one food or meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Oh this is hard…probably Mexican food.

What is your Starbucks order?
Grande Blonde Roast Coffee (with a little cream and cinnamon sprinkled on top)
