Ryan Baugus, a northwest native, received his doctoral degree from the George Fox Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He completed his undergraduate work in Athletic Training at Oregon State University, where he studied under the tutelage of Guido VanRyssgem. Ryan has an extensive background in sports medicine and sports performance. His past experience includes athletic training internships with the Oregon State University baseball and football teams, San Francisco Giants, NFL/MLB combine preparation with Exos (formerly Athlete’s Performance), and the Nike Oregon Project. Ryan has a passion for innovation in human performance and evidence-based approach to treatment. He enjoys the educational components of physical therapy and employs targeted communication strategies with a focus on empowering patients through movement. Ryan also has a special place in his heart for crossfitters, Olympic lifters, and power lifters. When Ryan is not working in the clinic, he enjoys running his podcast/blog (PTUNFILTERED), weight lifting, snowboarding, Oregon State University athletics (GO BEAVS), grilling tasty delights, and exploring the world with his wife Brittany.

Baseball (You only think it’s boring because you don’t understand it). And to play basketball.

If you could only eat one food or meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
KimChi quesadilla, add chicken from Bo Kwon’s Koi Fusion… let me tell you why…number one, it is ridiculously good and number two, it’s the perfect size…if you eat the whole thing it will leave you full but not foundered…now I really want one.
