Douglas Rosario has over thirty years of clinical practice in the areas of orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He received his physical therapy training at Loma Linda University and his Master’s degree from California State University in health administration with an emphasis in health education. Doug has practiced the last eighteen years in Portland. He helped start the Rebound Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at the Rose Garden in 1998. Doug was a physical therapy consultant and practitioner for the Portland Trail Blazers for fourteen years. He has treated athletes from MLB, NFL, NHL and Olympic athletes from track & field and swimming. This has been coupled with his experience of having worked with thousands of post-surgical patients with special expertise in the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow. He utilizes “evidenced based” practice, not because they are the “buzz” words of today, but because it has always been the right thing to do. Doug’s focus is he wants you to be an expert and champion in your own care. He will help you navigate, by giving education and tools to reach your goals. Doug would be honored to treat you or a loved one.
Doug loves being with his family, enjoys telling/hearing stories, being outdoors, working with his horse, playing golf and has a never ending love for anything related to baseball. Doug would love to have you share your story with him.
